EMSR adheres to internationally recognised standards of publication ethics and best practice in scholarly publishing.
Conflict of Interest
The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest related to the content of this article. Any financial, professional, or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the work have been disclosed in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies.
Ethics
Research involving human participants must comply with relevant ethical standards and include approval from an appropriate ethics committee where applicable. Authors must confirm that informed consent has been obtained where required.
Plagiarism and Originality
All submissions must represent original work that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, and data fabrication are not tolerated.
Corrections and Retractions
Where errors or concerns are identified after publication, EMSR will issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate to maintain the integrity of the scientific record.
Data Availability
Authors are encouraged to make underlying data available where appropriate and to provide a data availability statement.
AI Use Disclosure
Authors must disclose the use of artificial intelligence tools in the preparation of manuscripts, where applicable.
EMSR follows the principles and guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
