First Issue — UEMS Congress 2026 Special Edition

The inaugural issue of the European Medical Specialist Review (EMSR) is published as a special edition in conjunction with the UEMS Congress 2026, marking the launch of a new UEMS initiative dedicated to advancing discussion, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among medical specialists across Europe.

This first edition brings together perspectives on key challenges shaping modern healthcare, including postgraduate medical training, workforce sustainability, physician well-being, and innovation in clinical practice. Through contributions from experts across the European medical community, EMSR aims to support evidence-based dialogue and promote excellence in medical education and healthcare policy.
